17th March 2012 - Family Challenge Cup - Wheelchair Basketball - After the sucess of last years 10 Pin Bowl Family Challenge Cup, this year we are introducing a few sets of wheels. One for all the family, we invite last years winners back to try their luck at reclaiming the cup 2 years in a row. It will be fast and furious out there on the court with cheer leaders on the side lines egging on their teams. Pencil in this date as a night full of fun for the whole family.

12th May 2012 - Mystery Flight - Variety Midwest will be taking off on its own most reliable airline for a Mystery Flight with a difference. You can book your etickets online in March, with pre bookings available from the office, so stay tuned for information that will help you survive your flight with Variety International and Geraldton Regional Airlines.

27 - 29th July 2012 - Wild West 4WD Getaway - Our biannual 4WD Getaway is about to enbark on a new adventure out West, Wild West. All part of the fun of our 3 day trailblazing we have introduced a murder mystery to solve while we are out in the dust and cactus of the Wild West. Car registration forms and for all the information you won't find in our Lynton County Gazette or our Frontier Facts sheet please contact the regional coordinator.

31st August 2012 - 4WD Getaway Reunion - A night to catch up with all those other suspects from our Wild West Murder Mystery and tell your tales of all those things you did, without getting caught. You can come in character or just as you are but don't miss this night, the wake of the late Young Dick Lickerty.

19th October 2012 - Midwest Geraldton AGM

5th November 2012 - Melbourne Cup Sweep Draw- This is a must have ticket for 2012, with $8000 to win for the first place horse in the Melbourne Cup you also get to be part of the draw. A great night with heaps to eat and drink, don't miss this one in 2012.

25th November 2012 - Santa Fun Run - This year we will join the rest of the Variety tents in Australia and have a sea of Santa's running or walking for Charity. Plenty of Variety trick stops along the way, just to add that extra bit of fun to our new Midwest "fun"raiser. For registration forms and sponsorship forms please contact the regional coordinator.

8th December 2012 - Variety Childrens Christmas Party - A fantastic festive morning for those special needs children and their families to enjoy. With plenty of fun activites, entertainment on stage, heaps of food and of course a visit from Santa himself with gifts for every child. A wonderful way of being able to give back at this special time of year.

15th December 2012 - Midwest Geraldton Christmas Party - Join our members and supporters in what is always a great night to sit back and reflect of the year. Heaps of great company, who knows what Variety will come up with to celebrate christmas in 2012.
